Aurora LB Visits for the Missouri Game

Tyler Joyce was one of a few visitors for the Missouri game. He tripped to Boulder unofficially from Overland High School in nearby Aurora. Joyce is arguably the top linebacker in the state and he is ranked as the no.15 player in Colorado this year.

He will visit Colorado officially in January and is also lining up trips with Colorado State and Nebraska. We find out how his visit went and get an update on his recruitment. Get the latest inside.

"Colorado, CSU, and Nebraska are my top three right now," said Joyce. "I am going to visit Colorado State and Nebraska after the playoffs and I am visiting CU officially in January."

He has no offers at this time.

As for the visit, Tyler had a good time.

"The game was pretty good. I went into the locker rooms before and after the game. I also spoke with Coach Wristen and he was just basically telling me the same stuff he has been. That they are still looking at tape and they are pretty excited about me."

Tyler was not sure how many tackles he had on the year but did say he has had three interceptions this season. He led his team to a first round playoff win over Grandview and CU commit Ryan Walters last Friday.

He was an all-conference selection last year and has been starter for the Blazers the last three years.

Joyce carries a 3.0 GPA and scored a 24 on his ACT. He would like to major in Sports Medicine.
