Geoff Schwartz is hard to miss and not only because he is 6-7, 300 pounds. It is because of the way he dominates opponents on the field with pancake after pancake and the way he can move for a big man. Colorado has taken notice as he heard from the Buff coaches last week and Geoff now has CU among his top schools and says he will definitely visit if presented with the opportunity. "My top three right now are USC, Oregon, and Arizona. I also like UCLA, Arizona State, and Colorado."

Geoff claims no favorite at this time and has offers from the Cats, Ducks, Stanford, and Utah. But the two latter schools are verbal offers.

He will visit Oregon on December 5th and then Arizona gets their crack at him December 12th. Schwartz says he might also take an official visit to UCLA and he is undecided on where his last two trips will be to. He does admit that one of them could be to Boulder if Colorado is serious about him.

"Coach Borbely called me last week and said that they are interested and they will watch more film and then decide what they are going to do."

Schwartz has always had an interest in the Buffs because his head coach at Palisades Charter played at CU.

"My coach is Jason Blatt. He was a tight end or fullback there and was redshirting the year they won the national title. He tells me a lot of great things about the school."

Geoff admits that his parents would like him to stay somewhere along the west coast for college.

His team is 3-5 overall on the year and 0-3 in conference. His next two games are versus Hamilton and University. He says if they win those two then Palisades Charter will make the playoffs.
