Colorado sent Vince Okruch and Shawn Simms yesterday and they were there for five hours. Northwestern came by this afternoon for two and a half hours. Notre Dame will be by tomorrow.

How did the visit with Colorado go?

"It was real good and my parents also had a great time with them."

Jerod stated the current favorites of his family members; Mom likes Stanford, Dad likes Minnesota, and big brother likes Colorado.

When asked why his big brother likes CU the best Jerod asked him as he was within ear shot.

"He says it is because they have the best recruiters," said Jerod. "He also thinks the location is way better than Minnesota. He pulled out his bagpipes and played them for the Colorado coaches yesterday because he told them that he played them and they were interested in hearing him play. He also says that this year he has become a fan of Colorado for no reason at all."

So since his immediate family likes different schools Jerod says that it is frustrating because he truly has no favorite.

Iowa, Wisconsin, and Navy have been dropped from consideration, despite their offers. He still feels that of all the schools he is looking at, he can make the biggest impact in Boulder.

He heads to Evanston this weekend and then Minnesota the following. He will also set a trip for Stanford.

Coach Barnett told him he will make an in-home visit next week or the following one.
