"It went good," Mainord said about his trip. "I just hung out with the team and I was hosted by Chris Russell. He told me that he really likes it there and I can see why. The thing that stuck out to me the most up there was the atmosphere."
Colorado is recruiting Mainord as a defensive end and that is where he prefers to play.
"Coach Barnett told me that they want me real bad and that I would be playing next year."
Mainord says that the other schools he is considering tell him the same thing. Those schools include Alabama, South Carolina, and Auburn. He will visit all three in January before making a decision.
