"Yeah, I am coming back there in the Spring of 2005," said Washington, putting to rest all speculation.

Terry was an honorable mention second team all-conference selection this year after racking up 65 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery for a touchdown, and eight sacks.

"They brought me on blitzes a lot," he said of his sacks.

Terry played at both safety and corner for Garden City. So where will he play in Boulder?

"I will play wherever Colorado wants me to play. Right now they told me they still want me at running back, but they said that could change when I get there."

Washington says he doesn't care where he plays.

"Whatever gets me on the field fastest is what I want to play."

Terry took 16 credit hours this past fall and said he did well in all of his classes. He will have three years to play three when he shows up at CU in 2005 because he is going to redshirt this fall at Garden City.

One of the main things he says he wants to do before arriving in Boulder is get his 40 time from a 4.4 down to a 4.3.
