"It went real cool up there. Boulder was nice - really a great city," said Damon.

Damon was hosted by J.J. Billingsley and Dion was hosted by Vance Washington.

"There was not too much going on since the students weren't there. But, we still found stuff to do and had a good time."

So what did the CU coaches tell the Mortons?

"Coach Cabral told us they he wants us up there but he is not sure what they will be doing with their last scholarships. He said they only have a few left. So since they told us that we are really open again. We like Colorado State and Fresno State wants us to take a visit there. The Nevada coach also called today."

Damon said the highlight of their trip was going up into the press box and looking over the field and seeing the mountains at the same time.

As a senior, Damon had 64 catches for 1,563 yards and 19 touchdowns. On defense he had six interceptions. Dion was the man tossing most of those passes on offense. Dion had 99 completions for 2,263 yards and 32 touchdowns, with only seven interceptions. On defense he had seven interceptions. Both players were named first team all-state, and first team all-CIF Southern Section. Dion was also named the Riverside County Player of the Year.
