Josh Hunt was one of CU's first commits of the 2004 class and he is one of three verbals for the Buffs from the state of Michigan. "I am taking my visit this weekend," said Josh.

Hunt recorded 94 tackles with 40 of them solo, and 11 sacks for losses of 80 yards his senior year. He was chosen first team all-state by every print publication in Michigan and was also named to the Detroit Free-Press Dream Team. On offense from his tight end spot, Hunt had 19 catches for 280 yards.

Coach Vance Joseph went to Jackson to watch Josh play in his basketball game yesterday. Josh is the Center for Lumen Christi and averages 17 points a game.

When Josh and Vance had a chance to talk, Vance told him that the staff wants him to stay at the defensive end position instead of moving inside when he gets to Boulder.

Despite a published report that Josh had an offer from Michigan to play on the O-line, he says that is not true. Toldeo offered him officially and Michigan State said they were going to.

Hunt will be making the trek to Boulder on Saturday and will return on Monday. Buff Country will catch up with him then to get his thoughts on the visit at that time.
