"I like that Colorado is local," says Weber. "I have been able to watch them my whole life so I am very familiar with them. I think it would be a good fit for me. They have a good offense up there for running backs and they are always on TV so they are nationally known."

Nick lists Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado State, and Wyoming along with the Buffs right now.

He is also a very accomplished track star with a best time last year of 11.2 in the 100 meters. He runs the 100, the 4X100, the 4X200, and competes in the long jump. He qualified for state last year in the long jump, won his conference, and finished seventh in the region.

"If I coud have the opportunity to do both in college it would be great," says Nick of track and football. "But, football is my first love so that is what I am mainly focused on."

Nick says his strengths on the field are his speed, reactions, elusiveness, ability to read defenses, and gettting his teammates pumped up.

In addition to offense, he also played some nickel back for Monarch last year.

Weber is going to try to attend summer camps at ASU, CSU, and CU.

He carries a 3.5 core GPA and will take his ACT in April and his SAT in May. Nick is thinking of majoring in Criminal Justice.
