He ended up third because Arvada did not make the playoffs. He could be either a linebacker or a strong safety prospect at the next level. "I am open to anywhere," said Kubistek. "Missouri is really the only school I have heard from so far so I do like them."

Mitch had 119 solo and 30 assisted tackles as a junior. He also posted two interceptions. He doubled as an offensive tackle on offense at times.

He says his main strength on the field is his ability to read defenses.

Arvada Head Coach Bob Bozied says of Mitch, "He is an intense player with a nose for the football. I think he could get some looks as a strong safety at the next level."

Kubistek carries a 3.2 core GPA and will take his SAT on March 17th.
