Juniors to Watch: Overland

Fresh off of a 5A state championship run, the Overland Trailblazers have a plethora of new talent to make another quest for the crown this year. Coach Tony Manfredi recommended four players to us who he feels will get division one attention. We take a look inside at Aaron Wallace, Ty Shaw, Ryan Gale, and Tom Littleton.

Aaron Wallace is a 6-5, 220 pound defensive end/tight end who runs the 40 yard dash in 4.6 seconds. He did not receive any honors last year but Coach Manfredi believes that will all change this year.

"He has a huge upside. I think he is one of those kids who is ready for a bust-out year. He is athletic for his size and he has the frame to put on plenty of weight."

Ty Shaw is a 5-10, 165 pound cornerback who runs the 40 in 4.6 seconds. He was named second team all-league as a junior.

"He is a great cover corner and he is one of the quicker kids around."

Ryan Gale is a 5-11, 160 pound free safety prospect that runs the 40 in 4.5 seconds.

"He is a big hitter with natural instincts. He could play some running back for us this year."

Tom Littleton is a 6-1, 190 pound quarterback prospect that runs the 40 in 4.6 seconds. He passed for 1,300 yards and had 12 touchdowns as a junior. Tom also rushed for 300 yards and six touchdowns.

"He has a huge upside and is really coming into his own. He is a player that could really blossom and we expect a lot of big things from him this year."

BSN will be catching up with all four players in the near future for interviews.
