"I have watched Colorado play a few times and they always seem to play good," says Portis. "They play good in big games. I am interested to find out more about them."

Portis is being recruited to CU by offensive line coach Dave Borbely.

Other schools on his favorites list include Oklahoma, Michigan, LSU, Oregon, and ASU.

He has been receiving handwritten letters from Oklahoma offensive coordinator Chuck Long and says the Sooners, Tigers, and Ducks are after him the hardest.

Josh believes that he is a playmaker.

"I can make big plays and am good at breaking things down on offense. I have a very good deep ball."

He will be heading to the Stanford Nike Camp later this Spring.

Portis carries a 3.1 core GPA and is taking his SAT March 27th. He would like to major in something that has to do with Game and/or Graphics Programming.
