The 6-foot-6, 190-pound swingman averaged 21 points, 6.5 rebounds and four assists this year while leading the Spartans to the ISL title and a runner-up finish in the NEPSAC Class C finals. He's rated the No. 98 overall recruit in the Class of 2004 by SchoolSports.com.

Roby was also named a NEPSAC All-Scholastic by The Boston Globe.

In a game against Groton earlier this season, Roby scored 22 points in a 69-43 win and surpassed the 1,000-point barrier.

He is a native of San Bernadino, California, so coming and playing for Colorado is a move closer to home for him.

"It was definitely one of the reasons why I picked it, but it wasn't the reason," Roby said to TheInsiders of his decision to move closer to California.

Roby averaged over 20 points a game as a junior and had a significant accomplishment in July when he was named to the Adidas ABCD Camp All-Star Game and scored 5 points in the contest.

Now, the swingman is charged with a big task. Helping the Buffaloes land Top 20 junior Andre McGee. "Hopefully, I'm going to try and get him and get him interested. His brother(Antoine) is there now."

Richard chose the Buffs over offers from Iowa State and Virginia Tech.
