"They sent me a letter about junior day and I am going to try to get my coach and Father to go with me," said Jaime. "I really like the weather out there. I have received some letters from them with the background of their coaching staff and have been pretty impressed. They are an experienced staff. Plus, Colorado always plays a tough schedule."

The other school showing him the most interest right now is Boise State.

Cota likes these two schools, along with Alabama, Oregon, and Arizona State.

As a junior, Jaime had 125 completions on 185 attempts for 1,650 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also ran for 568 yards and six touchdowns on 64 carries. Cota was a first team all-conference, second team all-city, and honorable mention all-state selection.

He carries a 3.0 core GPA and is awaiting his SAT score. Jaime is undecided on a major.
