"I have heard Colorado is a good school - the best one in Colorado. I have received about 10 letters from them and I have always wanted to go there."

Carrico also likes Nebraska, Washington, Texas A&M, and Arizona State. He will attend the San Diego State Nike Combine this weekend and also wants to attend a couple of more camps this summer, but he has yet to decide which ones.

Kris will start both ways this year for Hamilton and he couldn't feel any better about life when he is out on the field.

"I have wanted to play football since I could talk," said Carrico. "Playing football to me is like living a dream. I have great determination and strength."

He carries a 2.9 core GPA and scored a 900 on his Pre-SAT. He will take the test again. Kris would like to major in Business Management.
