"I have always liked watching them play," says Yates. "They seem like a great Division One school."

His current top schools are Washington, Oregon State, USC, UCLA, CU, and Arizona State.

The Huskies are his favorite, mainly because his half brother Robert Lewis is a freshman outside linebacker at UW.

Marlon claims that CU, Washington, and ASU are showing him the most interest.

He would like to play on the hardwood and gridiron in college if he could, but says that it depends on what schools recruit him for each sport. Right now a lot of lower level schools like him for basketball where he averaged 12 points, five steals, five rebounds, and six assists from his point guard position this season.

Yates plans on attending the UW camp this summer and says he is not sure on any others.

He carries a 2.5 core GPA and scheduled recently to take the June 5th ACT. He would like to major in Pre-Med.
