"Colorado has a good program with a lot of history," said Pottorff. "I have always liked them."

Jacob also likes Kansas State, Colorado State, Arizona State, and Wyoming. KSU is his leader.

Coach Borbely is after him for the Bffs.

This summer he will attend the ASU one-day camp, the KSU four-day camp, and the CU and CSU one-day camps. He is best friends with another CU hopeful from his school, quarterback Brian Wiedeman.

Jacob is exactly what you want at the middle linebacker spot.

"I have a great love for the game. I play from sideline-to-sideline."

West head Coach Mark Roggy says of Pottorff, "He is a difference maker on defense for us. Jacob has had five interceptions for touchdowns here. He is the nucleus of our defense and is a sideline-to-sideline player. If there is a better linebacker in the state I want to see him."

Jacob carries 3.4 core GPA and scored a 24 on his ACT. He is undecided on a major.
