Colorado Injury Update

Having a week off to prepare for Nebraska never hurt, but to have an extra week to recover from injuries is even bigger. The Buffs had 5 players sit out of practice last week nursing injuries and all five returned to the playing field on Monday.

Although Coach Gary Barnett has already named Sr. back-up Bobby Pesavento his starter for the Nebraska game Friday, the coach said he was encouraged with the way QB Craig Ochs practiced.

Ochs, suffering from a partically torn tendon in his ankle, may see some playing time if he continues to improve.

The others who returned to practice Monday were:

- DE Tyler Brayton: ( sprained ankle)

- DE Justin Bannon: (hamstring)

- FS Robbie Robinson: (sprained ankle)

- LB Drew Wahlroos: (sprained shoulder)

Unfortunatly, LB Kory Mossoni was going to have his back re-evaluated this week.  Mossoni has been experiencing back spasms all year long and is currently listed as doubtful to play.
