Colorado's top wide receiver of last year has signed his NFL deal. He signed a 3 year contract worth $1,032,750 according to ESPN.Com. The deal includes a $112,750 signing bonus and a 2004 cap figure of $267,583. Hackett set a single season record atr CU last year with 78 catches for 1,013 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Seahawks rookie pool is reduced by that amount but the overall cap is only lowered by $37,583 since the contract isn't isn't in the top-51 deals. After signing Hackett, the Seahawks have about $5.5 Million in available cap space and $2.3 Million in rookie pool space. Their first 4 draft choices remain unsigned.
