"I attended a day of CU's four day camp and I attended the full Stanford camp," said Cerise. "I'd say I like Stanford a little more than other schools right now because of the academics. I also like CU, Colorado State, Holy Cross, Harvard, Colorado School of Mines, and Wyoming."

He has no offers yet.

Cerise has an older brother who is a sophomore SS/LB at the Air Force Academy. His Father also went to AFA after spending his freshman year at CU. He played football for the Buffs but hurt his knee and transferred. Ryan did attend Air Force's recruiting day and says he has a good relationship with the staff, but they are not one of his top schools.

Cerise seperated his shoulder towards the end of last season, his Father tells us. "He did it with about four games to go," said Mark Cerise. "He played through the last four games with it. Ryan is just a tough guy. He is a bruising kind of linebacker."

Mark went on to say that him and Ryan's Mother will leave the college decision totally up to Ryan. "I do not get too involved in his recruiting process because we want it to be his decision. His coach deals with it more than we do."

In addition to the CU camp, Cerise will attend the Colorado State overnight camp on the 24th-25th. Ryan speaks of why he has so much interest in CU. "Colorado is a great program with a lot of history. They have one of the best stadiums in college football and Boulder is just gorgeous."

He sizes up his skills on the gridiron. "I fly to the ball and give 100 percent on every play. I never let up. I chase everything down and I get the job done. My leg strength is very good."

Cerise carries a 3.6 core GPA and scored a 25 on his ACT. He would like to major in Buisness Management or Literature Analysis.
