Jeremy committed to CU the Thursday before the four-day summer camp last month. "I have been living right next to the University all of my life and have always wanted to go there," said Hauck. "Colorado is a great program and I am excited to be a part of it."

CU has recruited him as a defensive and offensive tackle. "I am going to start at both positions this year. Right now I kind of prefer playing defense."

Before commiting to the Buffs, Hauck said that Idaho was pretty interested in him. He had no other offers. He was going to attend summer camps at Colorado State and Oregon, but since he committed to CU he will not.

Jeremy sizes up his skills. "I have good quickness for my size. I am good at getting leverage and staying low."

He carries a 3.6 core GPA and scored a 23 on his ACT and a 1030 on his SAT. Hauck would like to major in Business or Biology.
