"The Colorado coaches told me that they want to see my play a few games at center before they might offer," said Pacheco.

CU is now very high on Richard's list after the Boulder campus visit. "It was a lot of fun. I think that Colorado is a great school. My father also really liked it. I'd say Colorado is up there in my top three now. I like how straight-forward the coaches are with me. They are real good coaches."

The other two schools in his top three are Fresno State and Oregon State. Richard is also looking at Boston College and Nebraska.

He attended the UCLA Adidas, ASU one-day, and Nebraska camps this summer, in addition to CU's.

His plans for the rest of the summer?

"I want to get faster, stronger, and...taller," he said laughing.

This is because many schools are not sure if Richard is a center or guard prospect yet.

Despite visiting many campus the past few months, he says his parents still do not have a preference. "They don't really have a set school for me. They just want me to go somewhere that offers a good education and a place with good coaches."

He says the schools showing the most attention currently are Fresno State, Boston College, Oregon State, Oregon, and Wyoming.
