Question: What team are you most looking forward to playing this season and why?
Jason Ackermann: CSU. Definitely CSU because they're instate rivals. And being an instate boy, I definitely want to beat up on an instate team.

Q: What's your favorite part of being a Colorado Buffalo?
JA: The chemistry of the team, and the tradition.

Q: If you could change one thing about college football, what would you change?
JA: I'd have them pay us. A little bit more money for rent.

Q: What's your favorite movie of all time?
JA: "Fight Club."

Q: Who's your favorite comedian?
JA: Chris Tucker.

Q: What music do you listen to before a game?
JA: A lot of trance music. Stuff with a lot of beats, but not a lot of lyrics. Something that'll get my blood going but at the same time help me focus.

Q: Who's had the most influence on your life?
JA: Definitely my parents. And the Lord. I'm a very spiritual person.

Q: What's your favorite CU memory from when you were growing up in Boulder?
JA: I've seen a lot of games. But I'd have to say the one that made me commit here, when we blew out Nebraska when they were ranked first in the nation (in 2001).

Q: Which CU running back have you least liked to tackle during your time here?
JA: Chris Brown was pretty rough when I was a freshman. That was a hard burden on scout team. This year, all our running backs are pretty good. They're pretty equal.

Q: What CU player is going to surprise people the most this year?
JA: James Garee on the defensive side, and on the offensive side, Tyler Littlehales.
