Brandon Dabdoub: I'm looking forward to Colorado State. That's a big game, it's the first game, it's in-state and it's been a heated rivalry for a long time. I'm really looking forward to it. And, it's the next game.
Q: What's the best thing about being a Colorado Buffalo?
BD: The tradition. And everybody's close here. It's like a big family out here. Everybody's close out here.
Q: You're from Louisiana, a state known for its great food. If a friend were visiting you down there, where would you take them to eat, and what kind of food would you find them?
BD: The first would be seafood, deep fried! Deep fried shrimp and crab. I would get them the seafood platter from Deanie's Restaurant in New Orleans.
Q: What's the best training table meal they serve you here at CU?
BD: The prime rib with potatoes.
Q: Who's the toughest offensive lineman you've had to go up against in practice in your career here?
BD: Without a doubt, Andre Gurode. He's a mauler, and that's why he's in the pros. He got me better my freshman year.
Q: Who's the funniest player on the CU team?
BD: Probably J.J. Billingsley.
Q: Who's had the biggest influence on your life?
BD: My parents. My mom and dad did a great job raising me. They showed me great guidance, great direction. And I'm just real happy about that. And I just want to make them happy.
Q: What music do you listen to before a game, and what's your pre-game routine?
BD: I listen to Linkin Park before we go out into the stadium. And I take a 10-minute nap before I get dressed.
Q: What player is going to surprise people the most this year. Someone that maybe people don't know about?
BD: Jordon Dizon. He's one of the fastest linebackers I've seen here in a while. He's great; he works his tail off, he doesn't say a word, and he just makes plays in practice. Don't be surprised if he's starting by the third game of the season.
