Sunday Night Chat Guest: Lance Carl

Former Colorado football player, <b>Lance Carl</b> will join the Buffalo Sports News Sunday night chat this Sunday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. (MT). Carl scored a TD in the 1986 program-changing 20-10 win over Nebraska. He was a GA under <b>Rick Neuheisel</b> and most recently spent three and a half years as an NFL scout for the Eagles helping them bring <b>Michael Lewis</b> to Philadelphia.

Former Colorado football player Lance Carl will join Buffalo Sports News Sunday night chat this Sunday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. (MT). Lance was a member of Bill McCartney's first true recruiting class in 1983, and played wide receiver for the Buffs from '83 to 1987. He scored a touchdown in the program-changing 20-10 win over Nebraska in 1986.

Since graduating, Lance worked as a GA at CU under Rick Neuheisel in 1996, working closely with Karl Dorrell.

He also spent 3 1/2 years as an NFL scout for the Philadelphia Eagles, and is the primary scout responsible for alerting the Eagles to Michael Lewis' talents.

Lance is close to the current program as well, and has insight into the 2004 team.
