Kicking guru Mike McCabe ranks DiLallo as the top punter prospect in the nation. He attended the One on One kicking competition at the University of Miami over the summer. After the event he was ranked by One on One Kicking as the best punter in the state of Florida and also the top one nationally.

Colorado offered him a scholarship two weeks ago and he accepted after taking a day to think it over. "Coach Barnett called me and said he wanted to offer," explained DiLallo. "I thought about it and called the coaches back the next day to tell them I wanted to go there."

Other schools recruiting the punter included Northern Illinois, Columbia, Army, and Air Force. "Columbia told me I could place there so that is the same as a scholarship."

Colorado is returning one of the best punters in the nation next year as John Torp will be a senior. Will the two be competing? "I plan to come in there, redshirt, and then play for four years."

DiLallo will be making his official visit for the Iowa State game with his parents. "I look forward to going there. It is a good school with a very good football program."

He carries a 3.5 core GPA and scored a 1230 on his SAT and a 27 on his ACT. DiLallo would like to major in Pre-Med.
