"My aunt and uncle live in Pueblo," explained Garvin. "My father was born in Colorado and grew up there so he was always a Buffaloes fan. He went to school at Adams State. So since he watched them play all the time I have always been a little bit of a fan.

"I talk to Coach Barnett or Coach Wristen about once a week. They basically talk to me about the program and and their depth chart. They tell me they need corners. Colorado is in the Big 12 and that is one of the best conferences. It would be a nice place to go because I could know people there and have them support me."

Garvin has already visited Georgia and Florida State. "Those are my top two and then Colorado and Oklahoma are the other two main schools I like. Those are four of my definite final five. The last trip will either be to Boston College, Notre Dame, or Purdue."

He has not scheduled any other trips yet and says he is not sure if they'll be during the season, or not. "I would like to take them during the season if I can but we'll see how it works out."

This fall, the nation's no.8 corner has rushed for over 600 yards on offense. On defense, he has 30 tackles, one blocked punt, and two interceptions. All schools involved like him at corner.

The New Jersey star tells us the main things he is looking for in a school. "The combination of academics and athletics is the first thing. I also want to take a look at the depth charts and see how comfortable I am with the coaches and players."

Garvin says that Florida State is currently recruiting him harder than any other school.

He carries a 3.2 core GPA and scored a 900 on his SAT. Business is his major of preference.

3-1 Don Bosco takes on Passaic, this Friday.
