"I called Coach Wristen a couple of weeks ago but have not heard back from him," explained Davis. "I am still interested in them but am not sure where we are at right now."

Davis still favors the hometown Sun Devils and he does have an offer from them. He recently received another offer, from UTEP, and he visited the El Paso campus on the weekend of October 16th. "They had nice facilities there and overall it was pretty impressive. Everyone was very welcoming."

He says the Miners and Devils are showing the most current attention. He has been to every ASU home game except for Oregon State.

Besides these two, the defensive end believes a couple other schools could be close to offering. "I think Boise State and UCLA might be close but I don't really know. It is hard to tell."

He has not scheduled any other visits at this point. Thunderbird is 6-3 on the season and takes on undefeated Moon Valley, this Friday.

In addition to d-end, Davis has been starting at offensive guard and also played tight end the first couple of games. All schools are recruiting him for defense.
