"I lit it up when I camped at Colorado this summer," explained Richardson. "I was very pleased with my appearance. "Coach Wristen called me in week three and I called him in week five. I have not spoken with him in a few weeks.

"I like the weather in Colorado and I also have a lot of family in Denver. It is my second home."

Richardson favors three schools right now. "I like Miami, Arizona State, and Cal. Cal likes me as a corner and everyone else likes me as a punt and kick returner. Miami would have to be my favorite."

Besides these three and CU, he likes San Diego State. Richardson has not scheduled any visits.

On the season, he has 20 catches for 400 yards and five touchdowns. In limited action on defense, he has three picks. Richardson has also recorded three punt returns for touchdowns.

He speaks of his strengths. "I have great speed, quickness, and hands. After I make the catch, I can make something out of it."

The Chandler athlete carries a 3.4 core GPA and scored an 18 on his ACT and a 820 on his SAT. He would like to major in Architecture.

His squad is 8-1 on the season and takes on Hamilton, this Friday.
