"I am taking my official visit to Boulder this weekend with my dad," explains Brown. "I am real excited about it. There is a pretty good chance that I could commit. I just want to sit down with Coach Barnett and get his feelings on the situation before doing anything."

The quarterback has seen the Buffs player three times this year. He came to Boulder for the CU game, went to Columbia for the Missouri game, and also attended the Kansas game in Lawrence, last weekend. "Colorado's offense was slow but got better as the game went along. Kansas was struggling without their top quarterbacks. I have friends who go to Kansas that have not even heard of the walk-on guy that ended up playing for them."

Brown says he had a chance to say 'Hi' to the CU coaches, but that's it.

The only other school to officially offer him at this point is Ball State. "I have pretty much narrowed it down to Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado, and Tulsa. Obviously, Colorado has the best chance right now. I sent out some senior film recently to all of these schools."

Shawnee Mission North ended their season last week. Brown finished with a 65 percent completion rate and had 1,900 yards passing with 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns.

He is fully qualified with a 3.5 core GPA and a score of 21 on the ACT.

The BSN will catch up with Brown on Sunday to get his thoughts on the weekend.

NOTE: Brown is expected to be one of three official visitors for the Kansas State game along with California propsects Fevaea'i Ahmu and Kevin Ellison.
