"I haven't heard from Coach Cabral in two or three weeks," said Lockett. "I may, or may not make all of my trips."

He is scheduled to visit CU on January 14th. The WR/S also has visits scheduled with Arizona (Dec.3rd), Utah (Dec.10th), UCLA (Dec.17th) and Oregon State (Jan.7th).

The Wildcats used to be his leader, but that has now changed. "Out of my final five I would say UCLA is in front. I scheduled a visit with them for December 17th. It is a good school that I wouldn't mind attending."

Diamond Bar ended their season last week with a 28-25 loss to Ayala. Lockett finished the year with 27 catches for 491 yards. On defense, he had 47 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception for a touchdown.

He is being recruited on both sides of the ball, but is more partial to playing receiver.

None of his final schools were the first choice of his parents. "They really wanted me to go to USC, but they are out of the picture since they aren't showing too much interest."

The BSN will stay with the Lockett story to see if he indeed makes the Boulder trip.
