"I am just waiting to make sure Gary gets through this season," explains Brown. "I want to make sure that he will be there when I get there. He should be fine, though. They will end up with a pretty good record so I think he'll stick around."

Brown talks about his visit for the Kansas State game. "It was a lot of fun. I got to know the coaches better and the thing about not having player hosts worked out well. I got to bond more with the two other guys that were there (Fevaea'i Ahmu and Kevin Ellison). I think the three of us really hit it off. I went over to Watson's house while they went to Cabral's and I got to hang out with Joel Klatt and Dusty Sprague. Those guys were real cool.

"When I did hang out with Ahmu and Ellison we had a good time. That Ahmu can eat and he is fun to be around because he always has a smile on his face."

Brown's father, who was a fraternity brother of Barnett at Missouri, also loved the visit. "My dad really likes it out there. He thinks it would be the best decision for me to go there. But like I said, I just want to wait a little bit and see what happens."

He did have a chance to sit and speak with Coach Barnett when in Boulder. "He said it is a good situation there with the way the fans have rallied behind the team. They have had a couple good wins this year and they have a lot of good players for the future."

The quarterback says that he could still take visits to Kansas and Kansas State, but one thing is for sure. "I definitely want to make a decision before Christmas."
