Ellis Sets Visit to Boulder

From: Arlington, Texas

"New Mexico offered me last week," said Ellis. "I now have offers from them, Colorado, and SMU.

"I do not necessarily have a favorite. I will see how it goes. I want to make sure that I am not biased to any one of the schools and just take my visits."

CU will get the first crack at Ellis as he will be in Boulder on December 11th. He will then visit SMU January 7th and New Mexico January 14th. New Mexico is making an in-home with him, tonight. SMU will make one next Monday.

Could there be a chance that if he likes the CU visit he'll commit? "No, I will most definitely take all of my visits. One of our players here that signed with BYU last year told me that I should not make any kind of decision until I check out everywhere. So that is how I am going to play this."

A couple of schools besides the aforementioned are also in the mix. "Colorado State is coming to my school on Wednesday to meet with me. After that, they could come to my house for an in-home that night. Washington State is also coming to my school today."

Ellis claims that SMU and CSU are showing the most current interest.

He finised the year with 100 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception.

Lamar finsihed at 8-3.

The BSN will catch up with Ellis after his Boulder visit to get his thoughts.
