"I called Coach Watson on Sunday night and told him," explained Brown. "He was real excited for me. I couldn't get ahold of Coach Barnett because he was doing an in-home visit with a Colorado prospect (Maurice Lucas). Last night he called me and I told him that I was giving him my solid commitment and he was also real excited.

"I had given him a soft verbal when I went out there for the Colorado State game, but just wanted to see how the season went. It obviously went pretty good."

Brown will be going to watch the Buffs in person for the fourth time this year when he heads to the Big 12 title game close to his home, this Saturday night. "My best friend's dad is a huge Nebraska fan and he had purchased a suite for the game a couple months ago because he thought they would be in it. He is going to let us use the suite now."

Brown finished the year with a 65 percent completion rate. He had 1,900 yards passing with 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns.

He is getting his basketball season underway where he averaged 13 points and five rebounds a game as a junior. Brown plays at power forward and small forward.

He plans on moving to Boulder in June. Brown also had an offer from Ball State.
