"It is still between those two but that definitely plays into it for me (Teevens being fired)," explained Behrens. "An assistant coach from Stanford called me after it happened to let me know that they still like me and want me to come for a visit. I have scheduled one with them for January 7th."

However, that visit may never take place. "I could decide soon after I take my Colorado visit on the 11th. It just depends on how I feel after going there."

CU remains his lone offer and he has yet to hear back from Stanford admissions. "Those are really the only two schools I am looking at right now."

Behrens finished the year with 203 rushes for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught one ball for ten yards and a score. At defensive end, he had 65 tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

Millard North lost in the state title game to Creighton Prep and finished the season with a combined record of 6-7.

The BSN will catch up with Behrens after the Boulder trip for his thoughts.
