"I got my first offer tonight from Colorado," Pacheco notified the Buffalo Sports News. "Coach Cabral said that he sent it to me yesterday and it will be here Thursday or Friday. I was shocked to get it to tell you the truth. I am going to try to get up there on the 17th for a visit. I don't think I am going to take the Colorado State visit on the 10th anymore because I haven't had any contact with them. I could visit Colorado on the 10th. Coach Cabral said he will get back with me Thursday night or on Monday to let me know for sure when they want me to come in."
Pacheco is a player that Scout.com was impressed with at the UCLA and Colorado camps this summer. He is a powerful lineman with good feet.
The Moreno Valley offensive lineman was not the only person happy about the offer. "My family was very excited. I am really going to have to sit down and talk with them now about what I should do. We went out there this summer and it would be such a great place to go to school. My dad, I think, is leaning towards Colorado, but my mom likes Fresno State a little more.
"I am going to check out Fresno this weekend. I will definitely also take the Colorado trip and then weigh the pros and cons of each school. I am really high on both of them. Fresno has been in on me for a long time. I am going to their practice on Friday and I am going to see how their players like it there. I will be asking a lot of questions."
Although the Bulldogs have not offered, that could change here real soon. "I am confident they will offer me from everything they've been saying."
Pacheco mentions the fact that if he were to go to CU, he could be at a rival school to his best friend, Rodney Picou. Picou is committed to Nebraska. "That is big for me. I would love to play against him in the future."
Colorado is recruiting him as a center or a guard.
