Colorado or Missouri for Top Tight End

Justin Kessler is one of the most heavily recruited players left on Colorado's board. He has fourteen written offers. Now that Urban Meyer is no longer at Utah, it has come down to Missouri and CU for his services. He has re-scheduled his trip to Boulder, again, and will now be in town next weekend. CU gets the final crack at him before his decision.

"It is pretty much those two now," said Kessler of the Big 12 North foes. "I did like Missouri more, but they are pretty equal now."

He has written offers from Oklahoma State, Colorado, Baylor, Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Utah, Tulsa, Louisiana-Monroe, North Carolina, Houston, Wisconsin, and a few others. "Texas Christian also told me I have an offer over the phone."

He has already visited Houston, Missouri, Baylor, and Utah. Colorado will get his final visit. Kessler was supposed to be in Boulder the last two weekends. He couldn't make it on the 3rd because CU was in the Big 12 title game and he couldn't this past weekend because of other obligations. "I had a basketball tournament and I also had to go the play Macbeth at my school for a class."

All schools involved like Kessler as a tight end, and he should be deciding soon after the Boulder visit.

This year, he recorded 31 catches for 465 yards and five touchdowns. Kessler also played one game at strong safety and totalled 15 tackles and one sack.
