Houston Junior is a Familiar Name

<b>Darian Hagan</b> is not the only former Buff with a son who will be recruited next season. Former Buff All-American <b>Kanavis McGhee</b> has a son that will be a name to watch in Houston. The BSN caught up with running back <b>Davyon McGhee</b> to find out what kind of player he is and what schools he is looking at. He has always been a Buffs fan.

"I have a brother that lives in Aurora," said Davyon McGhee. "I went to football camps there when I was 12 and 13 and I grew up watching Colorado. It is pretty fun around there and I like the campus, too."

CU is currently out of McGhee's top five which consists of Texas A&M, UCLA, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. "My favorite school is Texas A&M. Iowa and Northwestern are sending me the most mail."

As a junior, he rushed for 620 yards and seven touchdowns despite hurting his ankle and missing many games. McGhee was an honorable mention all-league selection. He also saw spot-duty at linebacker on defense. McGhee will be starting both ways this fall.

He is a strong runner on offense. "I have a lot of power so I can break tackles."

McGhee carries a 2.9 core GPA and is taking his SAT in March. He would like to major in Business Management.
