"The campus at Colorado does not seem that big," said Coulson. "It kind of reminds me of home and I think I could fit in well there."

The Buffs are on his early list with UCLA, Arizona, and Nebraska. He is listing the Bruins and Huskers as co-favorites. "Living in California, I have watched UCLA for a long time. I have always liked them. Nebraska is another school I have always watched growing up. They usually have some pretty good linebackers in their program."

His school has a connection with Arizona as Elk Grove is where current Chicago Bears linebacker and former Wildcat, Lance Briggs, attended high school. "They have always been a favorite of mine, too. Since Lance went there I always tried to catch their games."

Coulson believes he is a ballhawk. "I read plays and flow to the ball well."

He knows he will attend a couple of summer camps, but it not sure which ones.

The linebacker carries a 2.4 core GPA and is taking the SAT on March 12th. He is unsure of what he would like to major in.
