4A State POY Listing the Buffs

<b>Nick Lind</b> rushed for 1,650 yards and 29 touchdowns as a junior. In the kicking game, he had 56 PAT's and was 5-6 on field goals with a long of 51. Lind was named the <i>Denver Post</i> player of the year for the 4A ranks and the <i>Rocky Mountain News</i> named him the 4A offensive player of the year. CU is on his early list.

"I love the town of Boulder," said Nick Lind. "My sister goes to school there and I am up there a lot."

Lind attended CU's junior day as a sophomore and will do so again on April 2nd. Coach Wristen is after him for the Buffs. He plans on attending elite camps at CU, CSU and Oklahoma.

He speaks of his skills. "I hit the holes quick and I have good balance. I am a hard runner."

The schools on his list include Colorado, Colorado State, Montana, Oregon, Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. "I do not have a favorite at this point."

Lind moved to Colorado when he was little after being born in California and then moving to Florida. His parents are both graduates of the University of Montana. He also had two uncles who were starting quarterbacks at Montana and Montana State at the same time.

He carries a 3.0 core GPA and scored a 1000 on the Pre-SAT. He took the real test a couple weeks ago. Lind would like to major in Business.
