Buff Commit Receives Two More Offers

Schools across the nation are not giving up on Buff commit Chris Guarnero. He recently received two new offers, one came from a major SEC power and another one from an up-and-coming Pac Ten school. He previously had an offer from Kansas State. Guarnero is also starting to receive handwritten letters from coact-to-coast.

"This week, Chris received offers from LSU and Arizona State," said the father of Chris Guarnero, Gary. "He has received large quantities of handwritten letters over the past month from Oklahoma, Nebraska, UCLA, Florida, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Kansas State. KSU is starting to show interest again."

However, the commit's interest is not swaying from the Buffs. "We are solidly behind Coach Barnett and after our visit last week we believe he will receive an extension."

When Guarnero originally commited to CU, he stated the following, "I wanted to stay in-state. I want my family to watch me play and I love the state of Colorado and the town of Boulder. The staff up at CU is great."

Guarnero plays left tackle at Mullen, but has been recruited to CU as a guard.

He is the lone commit of the 2006 class.
