Buffs Getting in on Andre Harris

<b>Andre Harris</b> is expected to be one of the top five running backs in California this fall. As a junior, at Palisades Charter High, he rushed for 900 yards and three touchdowns on 106 carries. On defense, he added 10 tackles and an interception returned 99 yards for a touchdown. He has transferred to Taft for his senior season. Harris says that Colorado is beginning to show a lot of interest.

"I got a letter from Colorado telling me how interested they are in me and that I should consider going there," said Andre Harris. "They really want me to come to their school. I like the location of Colorado how it is not a real big city. I hear it is a really good school."

He is being recruited to CU by Coach Hagan.

The Buffs are now in his top five with UCLA, Cal, Notre Dame, and USC. "Notre Dame and Cal are my favorites."

Harris attended the UCLA Junior Day a few weeks ago and will be attending the USC Junior Day, this Sunday.

At the U.S. Army All-American Combine in January, Harris showed good quickness and strength. He claims the main thing he is working on right now is his speed.

Harris carries a 2.8 core GPA.
