"My trip to Colorado was great," said Jimmie Carmack. "I loved the school and the campus. I got to talk to most of the coaches and many players. My favorite part was probably when I got to hear the players speak about their experiences at CU. They all had great things to say."

Carmack also recently took an unofficil trip to Nebraska and has been to Arizona and Arizona State in the past. He was at Cal over the weekend. "I like USC, Colorado and Arizona State the most. They are all pretty equal. After them, I like Nebraska, Oregon, Wisconsin, and Washington. I went to Arizona and I like them, but I like Arizona State better if I were to go to school out there. USC is my top choice."

As a junior, he had 45 tackles and two sacks on defense. "I prefer to play defense, but most schools say I will probably play offense. I am strong, aggressive and I play hard."

Carmack carries a 2.8 core GPA and recently took the SAT. He would like to major in Business or Hotel and Restaurant Management.
