As a junior, Andy Keane played offensive and defensive tackle, and prefers defense. "Some schools have told me I could play on either side of the ball for them," he explains.

He was named first team all-league and conference on offense last year. "I am mean and nasty. I have good speed, quick feet and strength."

Keane has current written offers from Arizona, UCLA, Kansas, and Colorado State. He has a verbal offer from San Diego State. "My top two are UCLA and Arizona. I don't have a leader between them. I also like Cal, Notre Dame, Stanford, San Diego State, and Colorado State."

Does he have any interest in the Buffs? "I do have a little but it is real cold there. It is a great school in an unbelievable setting, but I think I would probably rather play in warmer weather."

Keane was not sure what member of the CU staff is recruiting him.

He will be visiting Arizona this weekend for their spring game. As for summer plans, he is thinking of attending a camp at Cal.

He carries a 3.7 core GPA and has not scheduled to take either test yet. Keane is unsure of what he would like to major in at this time.
