As a junior, Davon Brown rushed for 1,650 yards and 20 touchdowns. On defense, at free safety/corner, he had five interceptions. Brown was named first team all-league on offense and first team all-area and second team all-league on defense. "I have great speed, quickness and ability to break tackles," he says. "I make people miss and I also have power."

Brown claims that the schools recruiting the hardest right now are Colorado, San Diego State, Utah, and Washington.

He says the Buffs might offer and San Diego State has already verbally offered. "Coach Hagan at Colorado tells me how much he wants me there and tells me a lot about the program. He basically says how it is up there. From what I have heard and seen, Colorado is a good program. They have a nice campus, a nice field and a pretty good football team.

"My top schools are Colorado, San Diego State, USC, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, and UCLA. My favorite is USC and my parents also like them."

Brown plans on attending one-day camps at USC and Oregon.

He carries a 2.8 core GPA and scored a 1290 on the new version of the SAT. He took it again two weeks ago. Brown would like to major in something that has to do with Electronics or Engineering.
