Colorado needs a handful of lineman this year and one center/guard prospect they are after is Dimitri Lott from Missouri City, Texas. Lott has over 10 offers and just recently got one from CU.

Dimitri Lott plays offensive tackle at Marshall High School, but he is being recruited as a center/guard prospect. "I have good footwork," he says. "I also have good vision when it comes to finding linebackers."

Lott has current written offers from Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Christian, Northwestern, Indiana, Arkansas State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Colorado. "I have a few others, too, but I can't think of them right now."

He selects his top five from this group. "My top two are Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech. I also like Texas Tech, Kansas State and Mississippi State."

Does he have any interest in the Buffs? "Not really. It is too cold and I really don't know too much about their offense."

The lineman recently attended the Oklahoma State and Baylor camps. His only other camp plan this summer is Texas Christian.

There is a good chance he could leave the Lone Star State for his college career. "I wouldn't mind leaving at all. My parents also don't have a favorite. They are leaving it up to me."

Coach Wristen is after him for the Buffs. CU also recently offered another Marshall High player in defensive end, Sean Estelle.

Lott carries a 2.9 core GPA and scored an 810 on his SAT. He would like to major in Hotel Management and minor in Business.
