D-Tackle Receives Colorado Offer

CU is definitely making an effort to go back into the Northwest with the connections defensive backs coach Craig Bray has in the area. The latest player to receive an offer from Washington State is Spokane defensive tackle, Cameron Elisara. He says that he is ready to start researching the Buffs.

Cameron Elisara is a very athletic defensive tackle. Hence the fact that he'll also be playing at fullback and tight end on offense this fall. "I will be playing at those spots, and I will also start to learn some offensive line," he explains.

He has written offers from LSU, Nebraska, Cal, Washington, Oregon, Stanford, New Mexico State, Idaho, Northwestern, Boise State, and Colorado. "I also have a verbal offer from Utah and a couple other schools."

The talented big man is not ready to name any favorites. "I do not want to do that right now. I want to wait until I am done with all the summer camps to start naming my leaders."

Elisara was born and has been raised in Washington, but says he has no problem leaving the state. "I am open for whatever and so are my parents. My mom kind of likes Stanford because of the academics, but my dad doesn't have any favorites."

He was offered by CU a couple weeks ago. "I like them but I do not know too much about them. I am going to start researching them and all of the other schools that have offered me."

Elisara carries a 3.5 core GPA and has yet to receive the score from the recent ACT he took. He would like to major in Broadcast Communications.
