"I have offers now from Washington State, Iowa State, Northern Colorado, and Wyoming," said Chris Carney. "I would say that Iowa State is definitely recruiting me the hardest."

Carney has been to a few camps this summer, most recently he headed to one at Kansas State. "K-State was a pretty nice visit. My cousin Dyshod Carter graduated from there and he has been telling me about it. He says it is really nice and I would like it there. My friend Allen Webb also goes there. I want to see how interested their coaches are in me because I do have an interest in going there."

He is trying to get the same feeling from the Colorado staff. "I haven't been talking much with CU lately. I am not sure what their interest is at this point. I am just kind of waiting things out to see what happens."

He has not scheduled any visits at this point. "I will probably start setting those up pretty soon. I will most likely take them after the season ends."

Carney is a player has seen a few times. He is a smart player with good speed and quickness. The corner combines those strengths with a great attitude.
