Lonyae Miller has not yet received a written offer. "We just got done opening up a bunch of mail and looking through it," said his father, Lonyae Miller Sr. "We are a little frustrated with the process right now since he doesn't have any offers yet, but we know they'll come. Right now, he is just taking out all that frustration on weights and making sure that he is ready to show his worth on the field. We are just being patient."
Arizona is the school showing the most attention. "Most of our mail comes from Arizona," Sr. continued. "They seem really interested."
Kaiser has a scrimmage tonight versus Redlands East Valley, and then it gets the season underway with Rancho Cucamonga at Los Osos, next Friday.
Junior is also showing his patience. "I just need to keep up the hard work and good things will come for me," he emphatically stated. "I have been working hard on my grades and got two A's and a B this summer in my courses. My core GPA will probably be up around a 2.6 now."
He scored a 1258 on the new version of the SAT.
So what of his current interest in the Buffs? "I still like them and they are still telling me they are interested. I hope to hear from them on the phone this month."
