"Colorado tells me I am one of their top 10 linebacker recruits," explained Cole Graybill. "Coach Hagan sent me a letter at the beginning of August asking me to call him. I called and we spoke for a bit. Being from the state of Texas, I am a fan of the Big 12 and it would be cool to play in the conference. I look forward to hopefully taking a trip to Colorado."
Utah told Graybill they would be offering but he has not heard from the Utes since. "I still like Utah, but my top team right now is Arizona. I like them a lot. I like the community of Tucson and I have a lot of friends that are going to go to school there."
The Wildcats and UTEP have been the first two schools to call the linebacker since the contact period began at the inception of September. Graybill also admits to still having quite a bit of interest in Arizona State. "I'll be going to the game against LSU this Saturday and might sit with other recruits. My family and I have season tickets to the Sun Devils."
Brophy Prep beat Desert Vista in the season opener, 30-7. Graybill accounted for 10 tackles. They take on Chandler, this Thursday. "UTEP has told me they'll be at the game."
