Harper Returns From Boulder

Colorado hosted one JC prospect on an official visit over the weekend. The Buffs' staff is looking at CC of San Francisco defensive back Matthew Harper as a safety. Coach Bray has told Harper that they could really use some safeties with corner coverage skills and they believe the JC prospect is just that. Was an offer extended?

Matthew Harper does not have any official offers yet, but Colorado could be the first one in the near future. "They just need to see if I had a qualifying SAT score out of high school before they can offer," explained Harper. "So Coach Bray is going to check on that and get back to me. He told me that he would really like me to come in and play safety for them. He says they need safeties with corner coverage skills."

Harper breaks down his time in Boulder. "I got to meet with the team, I went to the game and I checked out the campus which was really nice. My player host was Lorenzo Sims. I went to his house after the game and so did some guys from the team. They are a real cool group of guys that I think I could fit in with."

The visit put the Buffs higher on his list. "I really like Colorado - they are up there for me. But, I still need to see some other places."

One of those places will be Oregon when he makes an official visit there on Novermber 19th.

That is Harper's only other scheduled visit at this point.
